Widows Friendship Group

Now in it’s 16th year, the Widows Friendship Group meets at 10:30am on Monday mornings. Ladies can enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit, a good natter, and then sit back and listen to a guest speaker or maybe a musical group. Both are varied; speakers may share tales of their travel explorations, maybe about life growing up on the Fylde Coast, or maybe talk about growing old disgracefully! Meanwhile the music can range from the Salvation Army Band to professional musicians now retired from the world of popular music!

One of the highlights of the programme is the monthly outings. Usually on the first Monday of the month, destinations can range from shopping outlets to the picturesque Lake District, travelling in a comfortable coach.

So if you have lost a loved one and are looking for some company and support from others who have had the same experience then please pop down to meet us. We’d love to meet you!
